Bio energocentrum
Vitoulová, Alena ; Michele, Ladislav (referee) ; Myslín, Jiří (advisor) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The bachelor thesis was developed as a project for building construction based on the studio work of second semester. Campus Bio energy center is a komplex of four interconnected buildings, divided according to their functions - The building to the public , production greenhouse, building for staff, equipment for the production of biogas. The structural system of the building material is reinforced concrete , steel and wood. The idea of urban and architectural design is the simplicity of shapes , functionality and aptness plan.
Sanatorium with Speleotherapy for Childern Ostrov u Macochy
Vitoulová, Alena ; Kotek, arch Jakub (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
Diploma thesis has been prepared as an architectural study on the completion of the Children's Hospital Ostrov u Macochy using the method of speleotherapy (in the Imperial cave). The new building respects the valuable natural surroundings (CHKO Moravian karst) and the existing sloping terrain, which adapts. Resort spa is designed as a single interconnected complex of three operations - building the house, primary school and the hospital itself. The complex includes: services to visitors, restaurant, pension, clinic, primary school, administration, children accommodation, dining, hospital and sports. The structural system of the object is combined. The idea of urban and architectural solutions is the simplicity of shapes, respecting the existing landscape, copy the shape of the terrain, functionality and aptness plan.

Windload in probabilistic reliability assessment method
Hanzlík, P. ; Marek, Pavel
The development of new approaches to structural reliability assessment leads to introduction of probabilistic methods. Application of these methods requires a new representation of loads and all other input quantities by non-parametric distributions as well as a non-traditional approach to the evaluation of reliability expressed by comparison of probability of failure and the target probability. The aim of this paper is to indicate a probabilistic approach to the reliability assessment of a structure exposed to combination of wind load (expressed by two-component wind rosette) and several other loads (expressed by single-component load duration curves).
Application of structure reliability method SBRA - steel frame containing leaning collums
Marek, Pavel ; Václavek, L.
Development of the simulation based probabilistic reliability assessment method SBRA includes the application of the method to the assessment of systems. The discust example is focused on the assessment of a frame containing leaning collums using elastic transformation model (second order theory) the reliability is expresed by comparing probability of failure and target probability.
Comments on the application of analytical transformation models and FEM models in the framework of the SBRA Method
Marek, Pavel ; Guštar, M.
The paper turns attention to the main differences between the individual models and between the approaches to the reliability assessment as well between the results.
Development od the structural reliability assessment based on the SBRA
Marek, Pavel ; Fischer, Ondřej
This paper focuses on one of the probabilistic methods, SBRA. Using selected examples, the safety, serviceability and durability criteria in the life-time range of a structure are discussed by comparing the calculated probability of failure and the target probability specified in codes.
SBRA method vs.eurocode - reliability assessment of a steel structure
Pustka, David ; Marek, Pavel
The paper shortly explains the limitations of the partial factors Design concept , PFD, and on concrete example of a simple steel structure shows the differences between reliability assessment based on the PFD approach used in Eurocode and SBRA method.
